Dave Holder - Master Scuba Diver Trainer / Owner
I was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania and watched more than my share of "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau". Until my son expressed interest in learning to dive, I didn’t realize SCUBA diving was taught and available locally. Scott’s SCUBA Service changed all that.

Josh Dillaman - IDC Staff instructor
"I grew up on a horse farm never imagining I would dive. After our open water class (my wife forced me to go) diving rapidly overtook my life. I soon became a professional and then we bought the shop.

"My love of water began while growing up as a "military brat". My dad was in the Army and we were always stationed near an ocean; Hawaii, Washington, Virginia, and even Germany.
Moving a lot wasn't always easy but I enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing different places and cultures.
Brian began diving in early 2016 when his family was planning a trip to Hawaii. Winter classes at Scott’s Scuba ended with the Open Water Certification in May. Brian then dove every Saturday at Crusty’s Quarry to become as proficient as possible before heading to Hawaii in July.
Josh Lean started diving after leaving active duty military service with the US Marine Corps in 2017. As a graduate of the Hall's Diving Center & Career Institute 14 week program, Josh hit the industry ready to train.
Sam Miller - Assistant Instructor
I have always been attracted to water, whether as a kid spending countless summer days at the community pool, Swimming in ocean on vacation, coming home muddy from playing in the nearby stream, to the real work of working for a Water Authority or volunteering with a Water Rescue & Public Safety Dive Team, my life revolves around water in one aspect or another.
Robin Anderson - Assistant Instructor
I spent my childhood growing up in Michigan. Surrounded by the Great Lakes I was always dreaming of seeing shipwrecks.
As a passionate diver and certified Divemaster, I embarked on my underwater journey in 2022 with my fiancé, Justin. Our shared love for adventure quickly ignited a deeper interest in the technical side of diving, especially the thrilling exploration of shipwrecks and caves.
I've been interested in diving since being glued to my TV during Discovery Channel's shark week. Back in 2006 I was studying abroad in Egypt and I took advantage of being near the Red Sea to get my open water certification and never stopped learning.
I was interested in diving for a few years before I actually got certified. When my girlfriend (she's been promoted since) wanted to get certified, I was all for it.
I have had aquariums since I was in high school so it was a natural progression, in my opinion, to want to swim with fish in their environment.
