His first dive outside of Crusty’s Quarry was in Molokini Crater in Maui, Hawaii where the visibility is 100-200 feet and the water temps are in the high 70s – it was literally like diving in an aquarium – and he was hooked.  After getting his Advanced Open Water certification in September, 2016 it was on to more classes to keep learning and gaining new skills.  Divemaster certification came in April, 2019, Assistant Instructor in March, 2021, and Open Water Instructor in November, 2023.  Brian enjoys teaching and introducing students to the underwater world.  The amazing feeling of breathing underwater and experiencing a new environment is a joy to share with others and to see the excitement on their faces after their first dives is beyond words.  Everyone should try Scuba diving!  Brian likes the outdoors in general and enjoys traveling (his wife is an avid traveler who would travel non-stop if they could afford to do so).
