Cambrian Foundation: Dedicated to Research, Education, Preservation, and Exploration of the Aquatic Realm
The Cambrian Foundation is working to usher in a new era. Our mission, goals, and purpose all remain the same, but we are actively working to bring the Foundation back to how active it once was. We strive to stay at the forefront of what is happening and help conserve, protect, and educate about the aquatic world and all its wonders.
Please join us for a night of discussion and history as Conrad Pfeifer and Keith Singleton discuss the past and future projects of the Foundation and how local divers can get involved.

Some of these past projects include a nine year collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the US Navy on America’s most historical shipwreck, USS Monitor; submerged cave survey and mapping in Florida, Mexico, and Bermuda; geologic sampling at the bottom of the Great Blue Hole of Belize; documenting new species in the Floridan aquifer; archaeological recovery and mapping of the SS Commodore offshore of Ponce Inlet, FL.
Locally and more recently starting in the fall of 2025 the Foundation is working on a project in the Ohio River near Midland PA involving the location and identification of Native American petroglyphs.
