Rescue Diver
OVERVIEW
Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they've taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will learn everything from how to handle small problems, or help in an emergency situation. This is a very hands-on course and some of the skills covered will be emergency oxygen use, recovery methods, in water rescue breathing., removing equipment from victims, search and recovery of victims and SO much more.
CLASS SET UP
E-learning will be issued prior to class, followed by two open water dive days. Before each exercise or rescue, a knowledge review will be done against the e-learning.
NOTES
You must be a PADI open water and advanced open water diver to take this course. You will also need first aid/CPR before you can be rescue diver certified. Any globally recognized agency (ex: red cross or American heart) is acceptable.
