Kids that are 10+ can get certified as PADI Jr. Open water divers!! They take the SAME course as their adult counterparts but receive just a slightly different certification card.

Ages 10-12 years old once certified must dive with a certified parent or PADI professional and 40ft of depth

Ages 12-14 years old once certified must dive with a certified adult

Ages 15+ same certification restrictions as any adult

Once a child reaches a new age bracket their certification automatically grows with them, they will NOT need to receive more training to be at a standard PADI Open Water level.
